With only two weeks till race start, it’s been busy.

We’ve whipped, spliced and run new ropes; we’ve dismantled, cleaned,  greased and oiled winches; and the victualling team have had the task of buying, sorting and stowing enough food to provide 2100 hot meals (plus snacks…) between London and Rio.

This Tuesday (18th August), the whole fleet leaves Gosport for the last time, and heads to St Katherine Docks in London in preparation for the race start. Come to the Race Village and buy me a beer.
