Just completed the Clipper coxswain course, designed by Clipper and the MCA (maritime & coastguard agency) to ensure there is at least one person on each race yacht who can navigate her safely to the nearest port if the skipper is incapacitated.  Lots of theory, and some exciting night-navigation off the south coast, rounded off by checking the rig on our million-pound climbing frame.
